Job Description:
We are currently working with a Private School who are seeking a skilled School Cook to join their team in preparing delicious meals in their restaurant kitchen. If you are a dedicated Cook with a passion for creating delicious dishes and have experience working in a busy kitchen, this may be the right opportunity for you!
The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and be experienced in food preparation and meal presentation.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes
* Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively
* Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
Skills: * Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting
* Knowledge of food safety practices and proper culinary techniques
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong attention to detail when preparing and presenting meals
* Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff on meal preparation
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 50 per week
