About the role


Please be aware that this is a 6 month fixed term contract to start immediately with the possibility of a permanent contract afterwards

To join our team in Portbury, we are looking for a graduate/entre level profile with an interest in science applications to work in our Snacks Seasonings team as a lab technician. This is an entry level position and so you will be supported at every stage. We are looking for somebody who is reliable and is willing to learn. 
Key responsibilities


* Accurate and methodic seasoning sample preperation
* Assist in the development of products from concept, trials and all the way through to launch
* Various type of Snack seasoning applications including topical and slurry application
* Raw material stock and availability management
* Base stock and availabilty management
* Manage and coordinate Analytical requests
* Manage and coordinate Sensory testing
* Perform functionality tests
* Ability to manage key stakeholders within the required process’s
* Workload management
* General lab management
Qualifications and skills


* Degree educated - any discipline
* A genuine interest in lab work for scientific applications 
* Reliability
* Eagerness to learn
* Ability to start ASP
