Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge in the rapidly growing solar industry? We are representing a market leader in integrated solar solutions in the UK, renowned for developing and launching an industry-first DC connector enclosure safety product.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the charge in driving this innovative product forward across both domestic and commercial sectors throughout the UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of solar energy while enjoying the freedom of a remote position with frequent travel.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement sales strategies that not only meet but exceed targets.
•Identify new business opportunities and target markets to grow our customer base.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within the solar industry.
•Collaborate closely with marketing and product development teams to ensure sales strategies align with our offerings.
•Provide valuable market feedback and insights to guide product development and marketing efforts.
•Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to drive strategic decisions.
•Deliver quarterly updates on sales progress and emerging opportunities.
Daily Tasks:
•Visit builders, installers, and wholesalers to promote our products.
•Make outbound calls to existing and potential clients.
•Proactively seek out new opportunities within the solar sector.
•Engage actively on social media to boost our presence and reach.
•Keep our CRM systems updated and accurate.
•Work closely with UK wholesalers to unlock additional opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a self-starter with a proven ability to close sales and seize new business opportunities. Experience in the solar industry, particularly in closing specification product deals, is highly desirable. You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to pick up the phone and create new opportunities. Being presentable, approachable, and a reliable team player is essential.
Essential Requirements:
•Strong understanding and experience within the solar industry.
•Based in the UK.
•Fluent in English.
