colleagues based at Fresh Kitchen (Sysco) site in Bicester in Oxfordshire.

Main requirements of this role are to ensure production areas are always clean
and presentable. Youll have good recognition, understanding and
implementation of ’clean as you go” policies that are in place Reporting to
the Production Manager this hands on role involves a wide variety of tasks
from an operational and compliance perspective. You will need to have high
standards and be expected to lead by example.

This is a varied opportunity, where you will support in maintaining health and
safety requirements to implement the site hygiene policy but also in actively
setting a positive, upbeat, safe environment for our colleagues. Youll have
excellent written and verbal communication skills to listen, follow and
cascade instructions from the Production Managers directive. As Senior
Hygienist youll be allocating jobs out to the other hygiene team members;
passing on instruction to other members of the hygiene team as shifts cross
over to ensure duties are completed to a high standard in accordance to the
CIC’s (cleaning instruction cards), procedures, and policies, completing the
associated paperwork accordingly.

As Senior Hygienist youll understand the handlinguse of appropriate
chemicals and hold a valid COSHH certification (provided if necessary). Our
team will be using hand-held ATP swabbing device to check hygiene standards of
areas defined in the schedule when necessary. Also required to complete
routine fogging as determined by schedule and timing (where possible) and
ensure overall chemical segregation is maintained and chemical supply stock
control is completed.

Duties will be carried out in both a chilled or hot production area, full PPE
will be provided. You can expect this role to involve some lifting and there
is bending, stretching, and standing depending on the activity therefore you
need to be physically fit. The key to success is to have good powers of
concentration and observation especially when some tasks are repetitive and
require a great amount of attention to detail.
