Job Description:
First Achieve’s Engineering Division have once again partnered with our Global Client in aerospace engineering, in their search for a Maintenance Electrician. Working out of their facilities near Edinburgh.
OVERALL KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* To apply fault finding and problem-solving skills relating to manufacture and equipment failure to continually improve processes.
* To participate in continuous improvement activities such as Lean manufacturing techniques, T.P.M, Asset Care, and 6’s etc
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
* Time serve Electrician City & Guilds 2360, HNC level or equivalent City & Guilds
* Must have a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical
drawings.
* Using test equipment and hand tools to diagnose, locate and fix electrical problems.
* Carrying out electrical installations and carrying out preventative maintenance work
* Interpreting work instructions, drawings and schematic drawings
* Prior industry experience in electrical maintenance covering medium voltage distribution systems, equipment breakdowns, trouble shooting, and working with inspection and maintenance programmes to meet statutory requirements is essential.
* Knowledge and application of safe working practices
