Description
* Inter-company recharges and invoicing
* Posting journals on accounting software
* Monthly revaluation of foreign currency accounts
* Capitalising assets and running monthly depreciation
* Month end reporting for various small companies
* Preparation of board minutes
* Assist with filing of accounts at Companies House
* Reconciliation of various balance sheet items
* Analysis of P&L items
* Deal with incoming emails regarding invoicing queries
* Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A possible degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
* or someone who is an AAT Studier - with plans to move on to (i.e ACCA)
* Proficiency in MS Excel
* Strong numerical skills
* Attention to detail
* Great organisational skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
