Your new company
This Scottish management company are looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant to support with their intercompany accounting requirements. The organisation have seen sustained growth in recent years and are looking to bring in a Newly Qualified CA / ACCA to support their £400m+ business.
Your new role
Reporting into the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for various duties which include, but are not limited to; consolidating month-end, monthly & quarterly banking, preparing annual consolidation for external audit, supporting with corporation tax and VAT. You will also assist FP&A with month end and support with external stakeholder management.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the role, you will be a qualified CA / ACCA / CIMA or be an exam finalist. You will have experience of group audit processes and have excellent written & verbal communication skills. You will come from a reputable CA firm or large commercial finance team and have a track record of delivering to fixed deadlines. You will be a forward thinker with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
What you’ll get in return
The role offers flexible starting & finishing times as well as hybrid working (2 days in office). As well as this, you will be eligible for a bonus of up to 10% and have a competitive annual leave and pension contribution. The role will provide you with the opportunity to work with various stakeholders within the group and the exposure to demonstrate your abilities to gain promotion.
