Accounts Clerk - maternity contract

This is a great opportunity for a maternity cover in a lovely location on the outskirts of Chelmsford within an established and busy organisation.
Your new role
This position is a busy and varied role including duties of daily banking, posting journals, managing direct debits, raising queries, helping with the stock take, assisting with month-end duties, petty cash management, creating manual sales invoices and sending to customers, reporting on KPIs, processing purchase invoices/purchase ledger, managing accounts on Sage Line 50 and other general duties.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be someone with proven accounts administration experience, a good level of Excel, someone who drives due to location and happy with working in an office environment. Hours are 9am-5pm with a 30-minute lunch, the salary is up to £30,000 FTE (this is a 6-month maternity contract). You will also need to be available to start early September.
