Job Description:
Our client is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences through exceptional event management. With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, you will help to host a wide range of events, including conferences, corporate meetings, and special occasions.
As the Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in the planning, organisation, and execution of events, ensurin every event runs smoothly, meets the client’s expectations, and enhances the business’s reputation for outstanding service.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Key Duties:
* Responding to event enquiries via website, email and phone
* Identifying opportunities to upsell
* Build and maintain supplier relationships
* Follow up on enquiries to convert sales
* Conduct show-rounds, both pre-booked and walk-ins
* Ensure contracts are completed with highest levels of accuracy
* Working with other departments to plan and execute events
* Ensure smooth running of all events for maximum customer satisfaction
* Plan and attend open evenings and promotional events
Experience required:
* Previous experience within a sales or events role is essential
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Highest levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Creative mindset
* Knowledge of OPERA would be advantageous
