Job Description:
LHH are pleased to be partnering a leading accountancy firm on the outskirts of Walsall who are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing exceptional accounting services to their diverse clientele, ranging from small businesses to multi-million-pound corporations.

Key duties include:
* Manage monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, ensuring accurate financial records for clients.
* Prepare and analyse management accounts, offering insights to drive business performance.
* Compile financial statements using IRIS software, adhering to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in accounting audits, gathering relevant documentation and liaising with clients.
* Utilize accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel to efficiently manage financial data.
* Ensure clients’ compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements and provide guidance on MTD processes.
* Maintain open communication with clients, providing timely and professional advice.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and the highest quality of service.
Key Responsibilities:
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
* Proficiency in accounting software, including IRIS, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel.
* Demonstrated experience in monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and management accounts preparation.
* Familiarity with the compilation of financial statements using IRIS software.
* Experience participating in accounting audits.
* Knowledge of Making Tax Digital (MTD) regulations and processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Requirements:?
* AAT Level 4 qualified or greater (studying towards ACCA)
* QBE (Qualified By Experience) also considered
