Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher with Subject Responsibility
Are you passionate about shaping young minds and ready to take on a new challenge in your teaching career? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher with the potential to take on a subject responsibility joining a vibrant school in the South East London borough of Southwark.
Position Details:
* Role: EYFS Teacher with Subject Responsibility
* Location: Southwark, South East London
* Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term
* Start Date: 9th of September 2024
* Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS) - Upper Pay Scale (UPS). A TLR allowance is available for candidates selected to lead Mathematics or another core subject.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Develop and implement an engaging and innovative EYFS curriculum.
* Take on additional responsibility for a core subject, with the opportunity to lead and drive improvements in Mathematics or another core area.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support to ensure all children achieve their full potential.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in the EYFS.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early years education.
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both students and colleagues.
* A proactive approach to professional development and a desire to take on additional subject responsibility.
* Experience in leading or contributing to the development of a core subject is desirable but not essential.
