Our client, a large manufacturing business in Leicester, is looking for an assistant management accountant to join them on a temporary basis initially, for approx 6 months, with the potential for a longer term or permanent role for the right person.

Description
* You will need to be strong with accruals, prepayments and balance sheet recs
* There will be lots of investigation work
* You will need to understand how a P&L is put together
* You will be given tasks in supporting the management accountant with the preparation of monthly management accounts
* You will be given training and support, but you must already have a good foundation of related knowledge and practical experience
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
* Previous background as an accounts assistant / assistant accountant
* Manufacturing experience would be advantageous but not essential
