Job Description:
Position: Class 1 Driver (LGV C+E Days)
Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire
Job Type: Temporary (2 Days)
Number of Positions: 2
Working Hours:
* Start Time: 06:30
* End Time: 17:00
* Expected Hours per Week: 50
Pay
£16.00 per hour
Duration: 2 Days
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate Class 1 (LGV C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently, following all road safety regulations.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects.
* Transport goods to designated locations as per delivery schedule.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring they are safely secured and handled with care.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
* Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issues.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving license.
* CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.
* Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver is preferred.
* Good understanding of UK road regulations.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
