Mondrian Alpha has partnered with one of London’s leading Private Equity firms, who are currently seeking an ambitious candidate from Audit/an Accountancy Practice/Fund Admin, who is looking to move into a Fund Accounting role.
The Fund Accountant will work within a team of 5 and play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the investment funds managed by the firm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with senior management and contribute to the strategic growth and success of the organization. Responsibilities for this role include managing the financial reporting process for investment funds, including preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings. The Fund Accountant will also oversee fund accounting activities, such as NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations, as well as analysing the performance across the funds. They have ongoing data visualization and automation projects which you would be supporting with throughout quieter periods throughout the month.
The ideal candidate will an academically strong qualified accountant, and ideally will have some exposure to the Private Equity / Asset Management (though not a prerequisite). It is important to be comfortable speaking to a range of stakeholders and be strong using excel for analytical tasks.
