Cedar is currently partnering with a dynamic and highly impressive VC-backed sustainability start-up to secure an Interim CFO. This role is initially offered as a 6-month contract, with a competitive day rate ranging from £1,000 to £1,250 (outside IR35).
This ambitious, technology-driven start-up has recently secured significant Series A funding and is now poised to scale its operations and finance functions to support global expansion and entry into new markets.
The Role:
* Build and lead a top-performing finance team, cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Drive the company’s global expansion by effectively managing financial complexities across diverse jurisdictions and markets.
* Craft and execute a financial strategy that aligns with and supports the company’s growth objectives and broader business goals.
* Demonstrated success in managing daily operational finance, coupled with a strong passion for driving both commercial and financial growth.
Your Profile:
* Accomplished and experienced accountant with substantial post-qualification expertise.
* Proven track record of exceptional performance in dynamic growth environments, including scaling teams effectively.
* Preferably experienced in the renewables or sustainability sectors; however, a background in early-stage mining or oil & gas industries is also highly applicable.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong capacity for building and maintaining effective relationships.
