Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: London - full-time in office
Salary: £35-38k + study support & benefits
This is an exciting design and manufacturing business based in city of London. With a collection of dynamic brands, they specialise in modern home & office furnishing.
Due to some recent growth, they are now looking to hire an experienced Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable Assistant) to join their finance team. This role will be based full-time in office, 5 days a week.
Role
The Accounts Payable Assistant for this manufacturing and production business based in London, will work closely with the Finance Manager in handling day-to-day activities. They will take on a range of key responsibilities including:
* Checking bank statements for incoming monies and allocate/reconcile against the ledger
* Coding, booking and manual processing of purchase invoices
* Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders
* Preparation of weekly payment runs
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Maintenance of Ledger Control Accounts
* Filing of purchase invoices, sales invoices and purchase and sales orders
* Answering queries from suppliers
* Assisting with ad hoc duties across the accounts department
Profile
The ideal profile for this Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable Assistant) position, should have the following attributes:
* 3-5 years of experience within a similar Accounts Assistant / Accounts Payable capacity.
* Strong experience in processing transactions and dealing with multi-currency.
* Used to working within a manual processing environment.
* Good experience with Excel
* Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
Salary & Benefits
£35,000 to £38,000 plus benefits including:
* Study support package
