An experienced yardsman/ groundskeeper is urgently required for day shift work, in the ops department of an SME plant site. The Yardsman / Groundskeeper is responsible for the general site cleanliness, movement of items and products by forklift truck. Tank and bund cleaning
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning of bunds
* Cleaning inside of tanks readying for inspections
* Packing and storing finished products
* Goods in and out, including using forklift trucks.
* General site cleanliness, maintenance
* Manual work including cleaning and digging in process areas
* Ensure that any problems are reported to the relevant manager/department immediately
* Ensure that personal protective clothing is worn at all times.
Other:
* Carry out any reasonable duties as identified by the Site Supervisor or Site Manager
* Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations.
* Ensure compliance with our ISO standards.
* Fully participate in the company’s performance management and development programmes.
* Maximise own ability to produce quality work, on time, and to brief, utilising best skills and available technology.
* Work in accordance with the Company’s Human Resources policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
* Experience on a plant site / construction sure / industrial site /hospital site/ utilities site
* Must have a fork lift truck licence + experience of moving things
* Some cleaning responsibilities
