I am actively seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Leicester. Your role will involve undertaking structural designs on large projects from commercial, residential, industrial and educational sectors.
It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
* A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng or BEng
* A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Structural design
* Working towards a chartership status (ICE or IStructE) or chartered membership
* Hold Full UK driving license
* Design experience in materials including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry
Duties and responsibilities for this Senior Structural Engineer include:
* Undertake structural designs using design software’s
* Reporting and analysing structural faults and remediation (if required)
* Supervise engineers and technicians accordingly
* Represent the company at meetings and liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors
