Jobstore are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our client specialist team based in Rochdale, to work on the production of high-quality goods for a niche customer base.
We are looking for an applicant who is looking for a long term permanent opportunity - working initially on a temp to perm basis, the right person will be trained and developed on a whole range of processes and manufacturing principles on site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
hands on production, using hand tools, cutting, sewing and using jigsaw cutting on a variety of patterns, ensuring low wastage.
It is essential that applicants have a good eye to detail, a pro-active attitude with a willingness to learn.
This is a physically demanding role where any experience in carpentry, working with various materials and general manufacturing experience would be beneficial.
