Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist - Contract - £150-£160 per day plus holiday pay (inside IR35) - Slough, Berkshire
We’re seeking a talented Senior FP&A Specialist to join our client’s team on a rolling 6-month contract basis, with the potential for permanent. Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager, you’ll be crucial in controlling, provisioning, budgeting, and reporting activities within their Finance division. This is your chance to make a real impact in a dynamic environment.
The Role:
As a Senior FP&A Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
* maintaining reports and databases crucial for timely production of monthly management information.
* assisting in developing simulation models and systems for risk provisioning and forecasting.
* preparing and presenting various financial reports and conducting detailed variance analysis to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
* collaborating closely with different departments to gain comprehensive knowledge of the business dynamics, supporting reporting, forecasting, and budgeting efforts.
About You:
We’re seeking a candidate with:
* a degree and part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
* strong financial analysis background with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
* proficiency in Excel and report-generating software such as Business Objects or SAP is essential.
* experience in NPV, ROI, and variance analysis.
* adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a natural inclination for quantitative analysis are key attributes we’re looking for.
* comfortable working under pressure and aren’t afraid to lead change or adjust to evolving environments.
* proven presentation skills, delivering to senior stakeholders and non-financial managers
The Offer:
A rolling 6-month contract but with the potential to permanent. Day rate is £150-£160 per day, plus holiday pay (33 days pro rata), inside IR35. This is a great environment offering hybrid working with 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home, dependent on business requirements.
