CMA Recruitment are working with a reputable business based in central Southampton, Hampshire, to help them recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.  This role has come about due to an internal promotion within the finance team which now needs to be backfilled. 

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve:
* Purchase ledger invoicing - ensuring the correct authorisation procedure has been followed.
* Coding and posting invoices.
* Preparing payment runs.
* Processing staff expenses.
* Supplier statement reconciliations and payment queries.
Suitable candidate for the Accounts Assistant role:
* Some prior experience working within a finance department, specifically dealing with suppliers.
* Good attention to detail.
* Happy to be office based.
