Job Description:
Trainee Mortgage Advisor
We’re looking for the next generation of mortgage advisers to join our well established and highly productive team based in Herne Bay, Kent. You will be highly motivated and ambitious with a passion for customer service, potentially with a background in sales or from a call centre environment. Clear and articulate, you’ll be a natural influencer who is not daunted at the prospect of speaking to clients over the phone. Whilst some knowledge of the property or financial services sector is advantageous, we’re really looking for someone with the right personality and drive to fill this role.
The Role
As a Trainee Mortgage Adviser, you’ll support our existing advisers in supporting their clients throughout the clients house buying journey. The role will involve a considerable amount of client contact over the phone, speaking to new enquiries to establish their requirements through to maintaining regular contact with clients who are house hunting. Over time, and with full training provided, you’ll start to take on more responsibility for the broader aspects of the mortgage process, typically working in tandem with one of our most experienced brokers.
Training and Development
Our robust training academy has a proven track record of taking new starters with no previous industry knowledge through to qualified and successful advisors. We will fund your CeMAP qualification through our online training partner, who will give you the materials and training course to support you in passing your exams.
