CELL LEADER – LASER CUTTER / PRESS BRAKES
Daventry
£42,000
Monday – Friday 7am – 5:15pm (1pm finish on a Friday)
Our market leading client in the metals industry is looking for an experienced cell tea leader to join their press break / laser cutting team. You will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a small team of press brake operators, as well as nesting and firming up orders for Laser cutting Machine, Programming, Setting and operating press brakes.
Key Duties:
* Leading a team on the Laser cutter/Press brake Machines.
* Monitor productivity and quality within the team to ensure targets are met and exceeded to meet OTIF orders.
* Evaluate and support process/fixture changes to achieve target times.
* Expedite kit parts to achieve shop schedule requirements.
* Programming, Setting and Operating of Laser Cutter / Brake Presses and all associated processes.
* Forward Planning for Holidays, Adapt to change to customers build plans, Training of operatives.
* Problem solving, good knowledge of measuring devices.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Possess relevant experience of working in a similar manufacturing industry.
* Knowledge of reading engineering drawings.
* Man management skills, with coaching and mentoring abilities
* Proven experience in either metalwork or fabrication welding.
* Ability to attend work regularly and punctually.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Methodical and precise.
