Job Overview:
We are looking for proactive and supportive Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a strong commitment to assisting teachers and supporting students to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
* Assist students with their learning needs, both individually and in small groups.
* Help with classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
* Provide support for students with additional needs and help with personal care when required.
* Assist in monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of individual learning plans.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
* Strong understanding of classroom dynamics and effective support strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education (e.g., Level 3 TA qualification) are advantageous.
