The Recruitment Co are looking for Class 1 Drivers with Level D / Cargo Operative certificate to work for our client, One of the leading Road Transport companies in and around the Heathrow area.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will need to have:
* Minimum 12 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
* Must have worked as a driver for at least 60 days in the preceding 6 consecutive months.
* Basic DBS
* Provide a full 5-year checkable history (no gaps longer than 28 days)
* Cargo Operative/Level D qualification and a copy of certificate and training report.
* Have a valid CPC and Digi Tacho
* No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
* Must have the correct PPE - HI Vis and Safety Boots
Class 1 Driver Details:
* Salary: £15.00 - £19.61
* Working hours: Various shifts (Days or Nights) across seven days a week
* Location: Heathrow
* Duration: Block Bookings
Role of a Class 1 Driver
* Complete trunking runs a shift; trailer swapping will be involved
* Complete airport shifts waiting on airport for shipments to deliver to warehouses around Heathrow airport.
* Complete vehicle checks
* Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
