Job Description:
Hardware Engineer – London - £50,000 - £80,000 pa
A global electronics manufacturer designing leading satellite communication products for the maritime industry are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join their R&D team.
Responsibilities:
* Work in a cross-functional team designing and developing leading satellite communication solutions
* Develop high-quality, hardware designs
* Collaborate with product & technical support teams to improve product features
Key Skills/Experience:
* Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
* PCB design & layout (multi-layer)
* Analogue & Digital circuit design
* EMC/EMI
* Electronics prototyping, testing & de-bugging
* Microcontrollers & Peripherals
* High Speed circuits/FPGA’s
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
* Power Supply design
* RF design & test
* Satellite/terrestrial communications technology
* Networking protocols/Wireless technologies
