Ready to join a fast-paced team? Your duties as the Stores Person:
* Goods Receipt: Serve as the crucial link by efficiently receiving parts, managing the goods-in process, and ensuring smooth communication throughout.
* Quality Control: Carefully check and verify incoming goods, promptly notifying the purchasing team of any discrepancies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Precision Storage: Ensure all parts are accurately placed into our storage facility, maintaining organisation and ease of access for the team.
* Parts Picking & Kitting: Pick parts with precision, whether as individual items or in kits, and ensure that every part is presented in a manner that reflects the high standards of Singer.
* Error-Free Barcode Management: Utilise a barcode stock control system with zero tolerance for errors, ensuring flawless inventory tracking.
* Professional Packaging: Bag, label, and package parts with care, ensuring all items are properly protected, clearly identified, and securely placed on trolleys with a detailed manifest.
* Audit & Issue Resolution: Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and proactively resolve or escalate any issues that arise, ensuring swift and effective solutions.
* Shortage Reporting: Accurately complete and report any shortages, contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain.
* Maintain a Clean & Safe Environment: Uphold housekeeping duties with diligence, and actively follow Health & Safety guidelines to promote a safety-first culture within the warehouse.
Working hours – Enjoy a day shift!
Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:15 & Friday 07:00 to 15:30
