Commercial Branch Director
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 Flexible salary and package dependent on experience, excellent benefits package including bonus, car allowance, PMI, pension etc.
We are looking for a branch manager on behalf of an established and reputable Insurance Broker located in Hampshire. They are dedicated to providing comprehensive insurance solutions to mid-corporate and commercial clients within the agricultural space.
Their client-focused approach and extensive industry knowledge has positioned them as a leader in the market. As their business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Branch Director to join their team and oversee the operations of their Hampshire branch.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the growth of a branch office, with a strong focus on client interactions and business growth. You will have the opportunity to manage and collaborate with a dedicated team, inheriting existing business while actively seeking opportunities to expand the client base. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving branch income, profit and loss, managing performance, streamlining processes, and developing effective pipelines with sales staff, lead generation and collaboration with service team.
* Working closely with the team manager who and will take a lot of the operational responsibilities, so ideally, we are looking for strong sales and mentorship background ideally with PI/Cyber market knowledge as well as strong GI
* It’s a fantastic time to join the team, working closely with in branch senior staff as well as other group level senior personnel
* The business and office have grown significantly in the last 12 months through organic and acquisition and the group have big plans for the Hampshire office.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in the insurance industry, specifically within a brokerage setting
* Strong track record in client relationship management, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, meet targets, and achieve profitability
* Solid understanding of profit and loss analysis, performance metrics, and process optimization
* A strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
* Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* A detailed understanding of the insurance market, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements
