Job Description:
Position: Senior Administrator (Safety & Risk)
Location: Glasgow (Office Based)
Salary: £28,000-£30,000
Pertemps are recruiting a Senior Administrator to join their market leading Glasgow based client. The main aim of the position is to support the effective administration of ISO management systems within the Safety & Risk team. You will be responsible for overseeing various systems related to safety, risk, and vehicle claims, as well as providing line management for a team of administrators. The role includes managing incident reporting, statutory examinations, and safety audits, as well as leading the development of training materials and industry award submissions. You will also ensure the smooth operation of our electronic safety and audit systems.
Responsibilities:
*Manage the administration and operational efficiency of the Safety & Risk team.
*Oversee the incident reporting system, vehicle claims administration, and asset trackers.
*Support and lead internal and external audits, including ISO 14001, 9001, and 45001.
*Develop and maintain management system documentation and training materials.
*Ensure compliance with safety and risk standards, including managing the non-conformance process.
*Collaborate on the team’s industry award submissions and internal risk reporting.
*Line manage and develop a team of Safety & Risk administrators.
*Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to support the smooth delivery of the team’s objectives.
About You:
*Experienced Senior Administrator
*Proven team management and leadership experience.
*Strong communication, listening, and decision-making skills.
*Ability to manage audits and maintain compliance with safety standards.
*Proficiency in MS Office and QMS tools.
*Results-driven, with a focus on delivering objectives to a high standard.
Desirable but not essential:
*Lead Auditor qualification for ISO systems (e.g., ISO 14001, 9001, 45001).
*Experience within the Plant, Hire, or Construction industries.
*Project management experience.
*Familiarity with customer-focused reporting systems and processes.
