Main Responsibilities:
* Teach KS1/KS2 students in line with the National Curriculum in a way that is stimulating, thought-provoking and fascinating.
* Make sure students are growing academically and emotionally.
* Have high expectations of behaviour and attainment.
* Show proficiency in monitoring and assessment.
* Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Skills and qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (or QTS anticipated)
* Eligibility to work in UK
* Enhanced DBS on update service (Willing to get one)
* Must provide 2 professional references
* Recent, fruitful experience in a classroom environment dealing with and/or instructing students with special education needs.
* Proven ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice.
* Proven ability to work successfully as part of a staff team.
* Evidence of knowing how to evaluate one’s own strengths and weaknesses.
* Evidence of effective partnership working with parents and carers.
* Familiarity with the most recent curricular advancements and best practices in both special and mainstream primary education.
* Knowledge of child development.
