Job Description:
This role has a starting salary of £32,512 per annum, for working 36 hours per week. This is a 3 month fixed term contract opportunity.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Access Management Team within the Service Design and Improvement Team as an Access Technician, supporting the existing Access Technician covering IT for Schools. Your training will take place at Woodhatch Place in Reigate, and your working location following this will be remote, which can be from home or one of the Surrey offices.

About the Role
As the Access Technician, you will be required to provide network and system access to all IT customers in order to ensure the timely and effective use of services. This will include new accounts, changes and deletions. You will be responsible for ensuring colleagues have the right level of access to perform their roles.

This role will require you to help manage the IT for Schools Access Management queue within our ticketing system, consulting with colleagues within the department and communicating with our customers. You will be working closely with the Access Manager and existing Access Technician within the team who will provide training, guidance, and support, during our busy period.

* Ability to prioritise and plan workload whilst resolving conflicting priorities
* Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team
* Good IT Skills, including MS Office and database management systems
* Knowledge of relevant technical area (Azure AD, One Identity Manager, ARS (Active Roles). On-site training will be provided
