The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, providing support to regulated professionals when issues arise. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload of regulatory and professional negligence cases.
* Provide legal advice and representation to regulated professionals facing allegations of negligence or regulatory breaches.
* Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
* Draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
* Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case management.
* Prepare for and attend hearings, tribunals, and other legal proceedings.
* Offer strategic advice to clients on risk management and regulatory compliance.
* Mentor and support junior team members as needed.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in regulatory and professional negligence law is desirable.
* The firm will consider applications from those with limited experience, or those with previous regulatory/professional negligence experience seeking to return to this practice area.
* Strong background in supporting regulated professionals in various industries.
* Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload independently.
* Excellent legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload efficiently.
