Job Description:
Commercial Finance Manager
Axon Moore are supporting an exciting, global manufacturing business in sourcing a high calibre, commercially focused Financial Controller to join as site number 1. Our client is due to embark on a period of significant growth and transformation and require an experienced individual with a background in manufacturing to lead them on this journey. You will be running the finance function whilst providing strategic direction and leadership including managing a junior team.
Salary - £75,000 - £80,000 + 15% Bonus
Location – Macclesfield, 3 days per week on-site
Main duties as Commercial Finance Manager
* Providing commercial analysis to group and to support strategic decision making
* Acting as true business partner to operations to drive growth and profitibility
* Supporting company financial model and 5 year plan
* Forecasting and budgeting
* As site number 1 you will be providing leadership across the entire division
* Developing the monthly board pack including variance analysis
* Strong market awareness to recognise external business opportunities
* Driving manufacturing efficincies and pricing to maximise profits
Person Specification
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Experience within manufacturing is a must
* Excellent people skills
* Highly commercial, consistently seeking to initiate business improvements
* Strong business partnering skills
* Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
