Sales Manager - New Business Team
Location: Head office Dorking, Surrey - regular UK travel will form part of your role to visit the remote sales representatives.
Salary: negotiable (depending on experience) + company car/fuel allowance

Job Overview:
Our client is looking to recruit a results-driven Sales manager to lead their new business Sales team who specialise in SEO/digital marketing packages for SME’s.
You will be responsible for:
* Recruiting - with the aim of growing the existing sales team
* Training and mentoring the sales team
* Setting clearly weekly sales targets and performance expectations
* Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback
* Generating weekly and monthly performance incentives
* Maintaining a positive and motivating team environment
Key responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management
Sales strategy & execution
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed weekly and monthly targets.
* Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
* Assist in the management of key client relationships
Operations Management
* Oversee daily operations of the New Business sales team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
* Implement and manage company reporting to track sales performance and make informed decisions on strategy adjustments
Sales team growth
* Create and execute a plan to grow the team over next 12 months and beyond.
* Develop and manage recruitment and onboarding processes to support team growth.
* Design, implement and manage training programs to enhance team skills and performance

* Leadership: Be inspiring and capable of driving a team towards overachieving sales goals.
* Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies and plans.
* Resilient: Persistent and adaptable in overcoming challenges and achieving targets.
* Communicative: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage team members and relay to Senior Management Team.
* Analytical: Strong analytical skills to assess sales data, market trends, and team performance for individual level, team level, and Senior Management Team.

Experience:
* Proven current experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in the digital marketing or SEO industry.
* History of implementing and/or performing Business Development tactics.
* Demonstrated success in leading and scaling a sales team.
* An understanding of SEO mechanisms.
Skill:
* Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
* Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets or similar.
* Strong sales skills
