Job role: Marketing and Communications Manager
Location: Northwest Birmingham
Hybrid: 3 days in office
Type: Full-time; 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Your new company
At your new company you will support the Marketing and Communications Manager in designing, developing, and delivering a wide range of campaigns in relation to our mill and international brands. Campaigns will be rolled out across all digital platforms, direct mail and tradeshows throughout the year.

Your new role
* Developing engaging creative content for our social media channels.
* Establishing social media channels for our house brands as we introduce them to the UK market and increasing followers and follower engagement.
* Collaborating closely with our international brands to deliver their campaigns to the UK market via digital and offline channels (direct mail, mail drops, and tradeshows).
* Creating and sending innovative email campaigns to drive brand awareness and boost sales.
* Creating and sending innovative direct mail campaigns to new and existing customers. Producing precise creative artwork for prints and suppliers.
* Assisting the Business Development Team with concept development, set-up, and attendance at tradeshows.
* Leading creative projects, including presenting new and exciting ideas/designs to management and senior management.
* Staying up-to-date with trends in the creative industry, marketing, and digital sectors.
* Providing effective analysis of marketing campaigns.
* Working as part of a small in-house team and assisting with ad hoc duties as required.

What you’ll need to succeed

Essential:
* Proven design experience with a strong portfolio in both digital media and print.
* Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
* Ability to take campaigns from conception through to completion.
* Bringing new ideas to the management team.
* Creative content copywriting for social media campaigns.
* A keen eye for detail.
* Confident communication skills, both written and oral.
* Ability to work on your own initiative.
* Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
* Confident, customer-focused manner with a positive attitude.
* A strong portfolio.

Desirable:
* In-house design & marketing experience.
* Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
* Knowledge of Video Editing.
* Driving licence.
