Job Description:
Elevation have the pleasure of working with a bespoke manufacturing company based in the Ripley area, who are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team with immediate effect!
Salary: £45,195
Location: Ripley
Hours: 3 shifts rotating- Early finish on Friday afternoon shift

Duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
* Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance
* Helping apprentices
* Carrying out risk assessments as and when needed
* Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
* Start up plant ready for production every day
* Work on continuous improvement projects
* Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures.
* Working to a continuous improvement plan to make yourself and the business the best they can be at all times
* Ordering spare parts
* General site maintenance duties as and when needed
Desired experience:
* You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
* It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
* Ideally have 3 years experience within in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position recently
* Must be happy working the 3 shift pattern
* Ideally have experience of working in an FMCG/ fast paced environment previously
* Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
* Ideally have some electrical knowledge but not essential for the role
