IT & General Business Operations Manager * Location: Watford

An expanding business is in search of an IT & General Business Operations Manager to bridge the gap between IT expertise and business management. This role is ideal for an IT enthusiast eager to elevate their career by taking on a multifaceted position that combines technical prowess with operational oversight.
Day to Day of the role: * Oversee network infrastructure and systems, including Windows clients, servers, Exchange Server, SQL Server, and Hyper-V virtualization.
* Manage server hardening, Sonicwall firewalls, network security, VLANs, switching, and routing.
* Address telecom needs and ensure GDPR compliance.
* Perform data analysis for Sales, Marketing, and Operations using SQL querying and Advanced Excel.
* Collaborate with teams across Finance, HR, Marketing, and Customer Service to optimize operations.
* Implement Health & Safety processes and maintain high-standard facilities.
* Stay up-to-date with regulatory compliance and certifications.
* Optimize logistical performance and communicate priorities to warehouse and production supervisors.
* Handle commercial contracts and confidentiality agreements.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Excellent IT skills (Level 3 or above).
* Proficient in maths and arithmetic with excellent English language skills.
* Experience managing teams and a hands-on, self-starter attitude.
* Good commercial thinking and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in technical skills/knowledge relevant to the role.
* Strong analytical skills with high-level Excel expertise (Pivot tables, etc.).
* SQL database querying experience.
* Excellent record-keeping and structured network filing.
