SANZA Teaching Agency is offering an exciting opportunity for a Specialist ASD Teacher to support four primary schools in Hackney. This role starts as a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Multiple Schools: Provide expert guidance on ASD support across four Hackney primary schools, enhancing learning experiences for SEND students.
Teacher Collaboration: Work closely with teachers to develop tailored strategies and interventions that promote inclusive and effective learning environments for students with ASD.
Curriculum Adaptation: Assist in modifying curricula to better address the unique needs of ASD students, ensuring they receive an enriching and supportive education.
Professional Development: Lead training and development sessions to equip staff with the skills needed to effectively support students with ASD.
Monitoring & Feedback: Oversee student assessments, track progress, and provide actionable feedback to help adjust teaching methods as needed.
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Required for this role.
* ASD Expertise: Extensive experience supporting students with ASD, ideally within a specialist or SEND setting.
* Effective Communicator: Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, students, families, and external professionals.
* Collaborative & Flexible: A team player who can work across multiple schools, improving SEND provision and outcomes.
* Inclusive Education Advocate: Passionate about ensuring that students with ASD receive the support they need to thrive.
