Job Description:
TEMP TO PERM ROLE
Customs Admin
Customs Admin Responsibilities:
* Customs Documentation & Compliance:
* Prepare and submit customs documentation (import/export declarations, bills of lading, commercial invoices, etc.) for the clearance of shipments.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant customs laws, tariffs, and international trade regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customs-related activities.

* Coordination with Brokers and Agencies:
* Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery of goods.
* Provide necessary information for product classification, valuation, and origin documentation to customs authorities.

* Tariff Classification & Duty Calculation:
* Classify goods according to tariff coding systems and ensure the correct duties, taxes, and tariffs are applied.
* Monitor and manage duty payments, ensuring that they are paid on time to avoid delays or penalties.

* Import/Export Control:
* Ensure compliance with export control regulations, including sanctions and embargoes.
* Manage applications for import/export licenses where required.
* Ensure proper documentation for restricted or controlled goods.
