The Role :
We are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work at a well regarded SEN School based in Cambridge. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs. You will work closely with the school’s teaching staff to create a nurturing and effective learning environment, tailored to the individual needs of each student.

Your Responsibilities:
* Tailor support to address the unique learning requirements of students with SEN.
* Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
* Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
* Assist in maintaining classroom order, fostering a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere.
* Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
* Regularly monitor and evaluate the academic and social progress of students with SEN.
* Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
* Strong behaviour management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Caring and empathetic personality.
* Commitment to safeguarding children.
* A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
