Business Development Director - Fast Moving Express Distribution
This role will start as an Assistant to the Senior Business Development Director and take over the role within approximately 18 months (with an increase in Salary)
Location: Central Belt to North UK
Salary £74K to £79K Base Inclusive of car allowance plus 20% Bonus OTE £90K

The Job:
*ToberesponsibleforSales andFulfilmentBusiness Development.Profitable revenue growth in line with the company & profit centre commercial policy.
*Road-Domestic&Europeanpalletdistribution,storage,fulfilment&services
*To gain newbusiness in line with set business targets.
*To assist in retaining and developing existing accounts and revenue streams.
*To actively promote Sales andFulfilment in the UK to potential customers in the UK & overseas.
Main Responsibilities:
*Ensurethatthroughproactivemanagementofthesalesprocess newbusiness is woninlinewithbudget expectations. Stimulate, growandmaintainanappropriatepipeline&produceonweekly basis.
*Liaisedailywithoperations,customer Services,administration& finance to ensure that the requirements of new and existing accounts are known and understood.
*Ensuresmoothimplementationofnewbusiness workingclosely Implementation / W/H Ops Manager
Skills and Experience
*Accurate & thorough with a good eye for detail.
*Able to analyse data, spot trends, draw conclusions and make recommendations to customers.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal.
*High level presentation skills.
*Able to tailor the communication style and format to the customer.
*Proven track record of in new business development within Fast Moving Distribution.
*Experience selling within pallet networks (desirable, but would consider experience in Parcels Sales)
*Knowledge of 3PL services including fulfilment
