Job Description:
Robert Half has partnered with a global business based in Chippenham to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently studying CIMA or ACCA and looking for a role that offers excellent career progression and personal development.

* Salary: £35,000 - £39,000

Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the monthly production of management accounts, ensuring they are accurate and delivered on time, including variance analysis for review by the Finance Business Partner.
* Support the budget and forecasting process by preparing and providing relevant financial information, incorporating changes as directed.
* Reconcile balance sheets and resolve any queries in a timely manner.
* Review key overhead cost areas, offering detailed analysis to support informed decision-making.
* Proactively identify and drive improvements in processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Provide ad-hoc financial support to the accounting services team as required.
* Escalate any issues promptly to ensure swift resolution.
Requirements: * Experience in preparing management accounts, including variance analysis.
* Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong analytical skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities for process improvements.
* Sound understanding of accounting principles to ensure accurate treatment and timing of financial transactions in line with company policies.
* An organised and methodical approach to work, with strong attention to detail.
