Job Description:

You will be working with one of our partners, mainstream primary schools, and we have a variety of different roles available and can accommodate if you’d like to work full time or you would like more flexibility. We have a number of full time positions starting in September.

Your duties as a SEN teaching assistant will consist of the following:
* Assisting students who have autism or SEMH
* Supply all of the school’s younger students with information and emotional support.
* Collaborate with other staff members to make sure that student’s development is tracked and modified to suit their requirements.
* Engage with students who have autism or social emotional disorders (SEMH) with confidence.
Requirements:
* Expertise in providing social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) and/or autism support to youth.
* While it would be fantastic if you had experience supporting students in a specialised programme, we are also interested in speaking with mainstream teaching assistants who want to transition into SEN settings.
* In order to guarantee that every student’s academic and emotional needs are satisfied, a good SEN TA must adhere to the school’s philosophy of working as a team.
* Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
* Enhanced DBS.
* Must provide 2 professional references.
