Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will have the rewarding opportunity to teach and support students with special educational needs, specifically those who are deaf. With at least 2 years of experience in this field, you will play a crucial role in creating an engaging, supportive, and adaptable learning environment, helping each student reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and Deliver Tailored Lessons: Develop and implement engaging, interactive lessons that cater to the unique needs of deaf students.
* Cultivate an Inclusive Classroom: Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and builds confidence in all students.
* Adapt Teaching Strategies: Personalise learning approaches to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring accessible and effective education for every individual.
* Monitor and Support Development: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
* Innovate the Curriculum: Contribute to the development of a curriculum that integrates innovative resources and teaching methods tailored to SEN students.

Requirements:
* A degree in Special Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* At least 2 years of experience teaching students with special educational needs, specifically those who are deaf.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) or willingness to learn.
* A strong commitment to inclusivity, patience, and a passion for supporting the unique needs of SEN students.
