Position: Key Stage 1 Teacher
Location: East Grinstead
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time, Term-Time Only
Contract Type: Permanent or Fixed-Term or Temporary
About the Role:
Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team and work within our partner schools across East Grinstead. As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners, helping them develop the foundational skills they need to succeed in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their potential.
* Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a culture of respect and learning.
* Engage with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child’s progress and well-being.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for teaching young children and helping them succeed.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
