This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain valuable experience in mental health, psychology, speech and language, behaviour therapy or social work.
As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will support children and teenagers who face various social, emotional, mental health and behavioural challenges. Many of these students find it difficult to manage their emotions and form healthy relationships with others. As the Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will act as a positive role model for all pupils, help develop their social skills, emotional regulation and foster positive relationships with their peers. You will help achieve this with a patient and empathetic approach.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to kick start their career in the mental health or psychology field. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience working with children who face significant challenges and adversities, allowing you to apply your psychological knowledge in real-world scenarios.
