Senior Tax Manager

Salary £50,000 - £65,000
Butler Rose are pleased to be representing our client, consistently reliable a firm of accountants that is seeking someone with a strong knowledge and focus in tax with technical tax experience who can oversee the tax team at it’s St Ives office in Cambridgeshire.
Role Responsibilities
*Review corporate tax computations
*Preparing partnership, trust, and personal tax returns
*R&D tax claims
*Assisting with tax planning strategies
*Working closely with managers and other members of the team to ensure successful completion of jobs.
*Oversee junior members of the tax team including assisting with development, reviewing work and providing feedback
*Liaising with your portfolio of clients directly to resolve queries.
*Work alongside Partners and senior management on matters including inheritance tax, trusts, Capital Gains Tax advice and CGT on UK property returns
*Lead compliance and financial planning processes and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
Personal Requirements
*CTA or ACA qualified, part qualified or equivalent, with at least 3 years’ experience of corporate tax
*Excellent communication skills and sound attention to detail
*Strong leadership skills
*A proactive approach to problem-solving
*Good time management skills in order to ensure budgets and deadlines are met
