Stores assistant required for our global client based in Derby, this is a permanent opportunity to join a thriving business.

The stores operative will work within a workshop environment, carrying out inspections and repairs to customer specification, this role involves going to customer sites.

Duties include

*Visual inspection of engine stands & products delivered
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Painting duties
*Taking delivery of products and storage
*General workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the workshop area
*Manual handling with full adherence to Health & Safety standards
*Engage in training, development and education in order to keep skills and knowledge current and to strive for continual improvement

Requirements for the role
*Visual Inspection
*FLT an advantage but not essential
*Proven experience in welding and fabrication (would be advantageous)
*Ability to read engineering drawings
*Willingness to travel to local sites and be on call
*Valid driving licence essential

Full time 38 hours Mon - Thur 8:00 - 16:30 & Fri 7:00 - 13:00
