Specialist Biomedical Scientist (BMS) - Cellular Pathology
Position: Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Band 6)
Location: Milton Keynes University Hospital
Contract Tenure: 2 months initially
Shifts: Core shifts, Monday to Friday
Pay Mechanism: Direct Pay
Pay Rates: £26 - £28

Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct microtomy and provide high-quality diagnostic pathology services.
*Perform routine and specialized tests in Cellular Pathology.
*Ensure adherence to quality control and assurance protocols.
*Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient diagnosis.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation of all laboratory activities.
Essential Qualifications:
*HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
*Proven experience in Cellular Pathology.
*Demonstrated proficiency in microtomy within a diagnostic setting.
Skills Required:
*Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
*Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
