Reward and Benefits Specialist
Circa £44,000 - £48,000 per annum FTE
6 Month FTC, 0.7 FTE (Part Time)
Birmingham - 1 day on site per week (potentially less)
The Reward and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing the organisation’s reward and benefits strategy. This role will ensure that all compensation and benefits initiatives align with the organisation’s goals, are competitive in the market, and support employee engagement and retention. The post holder will work closely with senior leadership to design reward packages, manage benefits programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Support the development and execution of the organisation’s reward and benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
*Manage the design and implementation of competitive compensation structures, including salary benchmarking, pay bands, and performance-related pay schemes.
*Support employee benefits programs, including pensions, healthcare, and flexible benefits, ensuring they remain competitive and relevant.
*Provide expert advice to senior leaders and HR teams on reward strategies, policies, and best practices.
*Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, including equal pay and gender pay gap reporting.
*Conduct regular market reviews to benchmark salary and benefits, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
*Manage the annual pay review process, including budgeting, communications, and implementation.
*Analyse reward data and present insights to the Executive Team, supporting decision-making.
*Act as a key point of contact for employees regarding reward and benefit queries.
